SQE

BARBRI’s Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE) preparation courses utilise our innovative technology to provide students with a structured and supportive learning environment. Time and cost-effective, our courses are flexible and adaptable and will provide students with all the tools needed for success in the SQE1 and 2 exams.

Our SQE1 course provides a comprehensive study of core legal principles with instantaneous online feedback, coupled with workshops and 1:1 mentor support. BARBRI SQE1 Prep will be offered multiple times a year leading into the scheduled exams. For law graduates: Accelerated full-time (10-week) or Focused part-time (20-week) courses will be offered. For non-law graduates: Focused part-time (20-week) or Flexible part-time (40-week) courses will be offered.

SQE2 preparation combines personalised 1:1 supervision and feedback, with practice-based skills scenarios and developmental tasks, to build competence and confidence. BARBRI SQE2 Prep will be offered twice a year leading into the scheduled exams. It will be in the form of a 10-week full-time and a 20-week, part-time course.

US Bar prep

Passing a U.S. state bar exam and becoming a U.S. attorney adds valuable credentials to your CV and gives you the capability and expertise to work with international clients, deal with cross-border transactions, and understand the differences between U.S. and international law. Beyond choosing to practice law in the U.S. or abroad, you may be eligible for many positions in specialised areas such as consulting, international arbitration, international human rights, corporate in-house counsel for international businesses, and many more.

Graduates with a full-time, three- or four-year common law degree, which must be of substantial and durational equivalence to a U.S. law degree, may be immediately eligible to apply to sit the New York bar examination.

Our International Bar preparation courses are offered at locations around the world or at home over six or 10-month periods. The format of the course includes recorded video lectures, access to our online learning platform and 1:1 personal support by a qualified U.S. lawyer.

Innovative testing and learning technologies combined with years of experience training non-U.S. lawyers and law graduates make BARBRI the perfect partner when you decide to enhance your career by becoming a U.S. attorney. Our international Bar preparation programmes are designed specifically for non-U.S. graduates focusing on the topics that international students find difficult and /or are most frequently examined.
