City law firm Macfarlanes was the first non-magic circle firm to increase its newly qualified (NQ) lawyer salary in line with the ongoing NQ pay war. 

Nearly 70% of legal professionals have experienced mental ill-health and 22% have experienced bullying, harassment or discrimination at work, according to LawCare’s recent survey.

For the second year in a row, Browne Jacobson LLP has secured the top spot on the UK’s Social Mobility Index.  

The University of Law will offer the Bar Practice Course and BPC LLM at Newcastle University from September 2022 as part of its ongoing legal education partnership with the university.
