Key Responsibilities

  • Complete account management activities as and when required including, but not limited to, develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, identify opportunities to upsell and upgrade and support the renewal cycle.
  • Work with client services and new business teams to carry out the activities through the client life-cycle to increase renewal rates by volume and value. 
  • Work with your colleagues in the company to ensure highest standards of delivery and identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling to increase company revenue.
  • Develop in-depth product, market and sector knowledge.
  • Deliver effective communications, which can be adjusted depending on the product and audience.
  • Update the CRM to ensure the CRM accurately reflects your sales activity through the buying stage to move leads and opportunities to closed won or closed lost status.
  • Ensure your clients have signed contract and orders are processed in accordance with GDPR regulations.
  • Implement plans to maximise account management opportunities by developing sales to meet
  • Attend client meetings and communicate new product developments, obtaining client feedback. 

Skills knowledge and expertise

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, in particular a highly professional telephone manner.
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve targets.
  • International outlook.
  • Ability to work to targets and showcase resilience in challenging situations.
  • Role model organisational values to more junior members of the team, mentor and develop/train.
  • One to two years experience in a target driven sales role, ideally telephone based B2B sales or account management (desirable). 
  • Proven track record of sales performance and hiting targets. 
  • Knowledge of the legal sector or professional services is desirable.
