Leigh Day is a leading claimant-only law firm specialising in the more challenging and complex aspects of clinical negligence, personal injury and human rights law. This is a great opportunity to join a vibrant and growing team of partners and staff who are committed to providing justice to individuals.
Trainee solicitors at Leigh Day do not have case loads of their own but work closely with one or more of the senior lawyers in the firm and assist with all aspects of that lawyer's work. These are busy and demanding roles and a high standard of performance is expected with the ability to deal sensitively with clients and experts. Successful applicants will have good IT skills and be effective communicators. Strong written and verbal skills are a must have together with the ability to manage tasks in an assertive, efficient and timely manner. A proven commitment to the type of work we do would be an advantage.
Leigh Day is committed to the Law Society training scheme and the provision of structured quality training placements for trainee solicitors. Leigh Day is committed to equality and diversity and welcomes applications from all sections of the community. A copy of the equality and diversity Policy is available upon request.
Closing date for applications: 27 March 2014
