Clifford Chance is again running its Intelligent Aid essay competition, offering students the chance to demonstrate intellect, creativity and understanding of this year's topic – growth economies.
The competition is open to all UK undergraduate and postgraduate students, irrespective of their degree discipline. To enter, students must answer the following question in 500 words or less: "Economic growth in markets like China, Africa, Russia and Latin America continues to present new opportunities. How should leading international law firms be adapting their strategies in light of this growth? You can base your answer on specific geographies and sectors."
Answers should be submitted via the firm's website by 31 January 2014. The 40 best entrants will be invited to present their ideas to a panel of judges at Clifford Chance's London offices.
The student who gives the best presentation will win a place on the firm’s August 2014 vacation scheme, £5,000 towards his or her university fees, and the opportunity to make a £1,000 donation to a selected charity. A further 19 winners will also win a place on the vac scheme.
