A woman from Florida has become the youngest person ever to be called to the Bar, having passed her Bar exams at the age of 18.
Gabrielle Turnquest, from Florida in the United States, was called to the Bar of England and Wales through the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn on 30 July 2013. She took the BPTC at The University of Law after becoming the youngest ever graduate of Liberty University, Virginia at 16, and passing the GDL at the age of 17. Gabrielle will now return to the United States to pursue her ambition to become a fashion law specialist.
Reflecting on her achievements, Gabrielle said: “I am honoured to be the youngest graduate student to pass the Bar exams in England and Wales and grateful to The University of Law for helping me achieve this milestone. Studying at The University of Law has broadened my horizons and introduced me to a global legal system that will help me in my future career in the international fashion industry.”
