Lawrence Graham’s merger with Wragge & Co was completed today (1 May), with the combined firms now being known as Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co.
The new firm will have a turnover of £170 million, while five Lawrence Graham lawyers will be promoted to partner as a result of the merger. However, only two spots on the firm’s management board will be occupied by Lawrence Graham partners.
As The Lawyer reports, Wragge & Co’s senior partner, Quentin Pooles, said that the main attractions of merging with Lawrence Graham were the latter firm’s investment funds, private capital, real estate and equity capital markets practices.
