The Vernon Cade Fund is offering financial assistance to trainee solicitors in Cambridgeshire, in the form of a grant of somewhere between £500 and £2,000.
The fund was established by Grace Cade, the widow of Cambridge solicitor Vernon Cade, to help trainees who have a connection with Cambridgeshire, the strength of which will be material. The trustees invite applications from trainees who (i) have been normally resident in or are working or intending to work in Cambridgeshire, and (ii) have secured or commenced a training contract.
Application forms can be obtained from Philip Speer of Thomson Webb & Corfield on [email protected] or by calling 01223 578073. Apply by 12 July 2013.
