International law firm Trowers & Hamlins has announced that all 13 of its trainees who are set to qualify in March will be kept on as newly-qualified solicitors (NQs). The 13 NQs will be based across the firm's international offices, with seven in London, two in Manchester, one in Abu Dhabi, one in Bahrain and another two in Dubai.
Trowers joins a select group of firms which can boast a 100% trainee retention rate this year. Along with Trowers, RollOnFriday reports that Jones Day, Holman Fenwick & Willan, Farrers, Skadden, Sidley Austin and Radcliffes Le Brasseur kept on all of their respective trainees.
Paul Robinson, Trowers' director of human resources, said: "We are absolutely delighted to offer all of our trainees from this intake positions across the firm. We have been very impressed with the calibre of these NQs and are confident that they will be excellent additions to their respective departments and teams. In what continues to be a challenging market, we remain committed to investing in our trainees and helping them develop successful and rewarding careers in the law."
