Gordons LLP, based in Yorkshire, has welcomed three new apprentices to train with the firm.
The firm launched its apprenticeship scheme in July 2011, with an initial intake of five apprentices and a further three joining the team in September 2012. Georgia Samardzija, Natasha Taylor and Abigail Naylor are working in the personal injury, corporate and commercial and private client departments respectively. The legal apprenticeship scheme allows the participants to become chartered legal executives over five years, through a combination of practical experience and study.
Managing Partner Paul Ayre, who developed the scheme at Gordons, commented: "The legal profession should be open to all people with appropriate ability and drive, whatever their circumstances. Our first two intakes of apprentices received rave reviews from their colleagues for their performances and I have no doubt Georgia, Natasha and Abigail will acquit themselves with equal distinction."
