A trainee solicitor has taken the well-trodden path from law to politics by becoming the mayor of Frodsham in Cheshire.
Rowlinsons Solicitors trainee Sara Wakefield is no stranger to local politics, having had two spells as a councillor in 2003-05 and 2011-13. Sarah is also enjoying success in the legal profession, and was part of the Rowlinsons Solicitors team that won the property award at the recent Liverpool Law Society Legal Awards.
Denis Stevenson, managing director at Rowlinsons, said: "We are delighted for Sara and not surprised that she has become mayor. She has drive and an abundance of commitment in everything she does. She will be an excellent mayor and serve Frodsham well. We are proud to have her in the Rowlinsons team."
