Nabarro LLP, Simmons & Simmons and Slater & Gordon have been singled out for praise at the National Council for Work Experience (NCWE) Awards 2013, marking them out as some of the UK's best internship providers.
The awards are now in their 10th year, and serve to recognise and reward employers that provide high-quality internships to students and graduates. In the Best Legal Internship Provider category, Nabarro was the winner and Simmons & Simmons was highly commended - the second year in a row that each firm has won those accolades. Slater & Gordon won the Best Newcomer award, covering schemes that had been set up within the last two years.
Jane Drew, trainee resources manager at Nabarro, says: "Our three-week placement is unique among law firms as our students spend it in just one legal team, ensuring that they have a greater opportunity to build relationships and become fully immersed in team and client work. We're delighted to have received this award for a second year, which is testament to our continued high standards."
The complete list of winners can be found on the NCWE website.
