The University of Law – one of the UK’s longest-established providers of legal education – has announced a new scholarship scheme to support students affected by the global pandemic.

This is in addition to the already existing £2 million fund available for students who will begin studying in the 2020/21 academic year.

The scholarship enables applicants to study any of the university’s wide-ranging programmes, including an MSc, Graduate Diploma in Law or MA Law, Legal Practice Course, LLM, LLB or Bar Practice Course, as well as The University of Law’s upcoming Law Live Lecture series. .

Vice chancellor and CEO of The University of Law Andrea Nollent said:“We have an absolute commitment to creating opportunities for students in what is an incredibly challenging time. In no way can we totally alleviate the stress many will be feeling at this moment, however for those looking to use this time to invest in themselves and a new path for the future, we can be there to help.

“Our extensive list of scholarships and bursaries are designed to help ambitious, talented individuals to achieve their goal of a successful career in business, policing or law. We hope those affected by the pandemic will take this opportunity to register their interest onsite so we can help guide them to a new career.”

Once applicants have registered their interest via The University of Law’s ‘Scholarships and Bursaries’ page, university consultants will provide further details on the criteria and will send the application form. Registration is open now and closes on Saturday 1 August.
