The University of Law has announced an exciting partnership with Themis Bar Review to offer a Themis Global Advantage programme, which has been designed for University of Law students and alumni who want to sit the Uniform Bar Exam in New York.
The programme will help candidates to overcome time constraints and unfamiliarity with US standardised testing, as well as provide them with the same foundation that is offered to US-educated candidates over three years of law school.
Designed for both online and face-to-face learning, both approaches use the most up to date research on memory retention and comprehension, with everything required to pass the Bar exam (eg, lectures and practice questions) available on-demand via desktop, phone and tablet. Themis provides evidence to prospective students regarding the success of its course, as the only US-based Bar preparation company to consistently publish its pass rates.
Students from The University of Law who enrol on the programme will be eligible for additional benefits, including an extended course schedule, an introductory course consultation with a New York attorney, live classroom or virtual sessions, and a discounted rate of $300 off Themis’s advertised US prices.
The University of Law’s Vice Chancellor and CEO Professor Andrea Nollent said: “We are thrilled to be working with Themis Bar Review to offer our students and alumni the opportunity to enhance their careers and employability options.
“New York is a hub for international business, governmental organisations, and arbitration, among other areas. Passing the New York bar exam opens up an extensive range of opportunities for careers in a global legal landscape that is ever-changing.”
Meanwhile, Themis’s Chief Operating Office Richard Douglas said: “We are incredibly excited about our partnership with ULaw.
“The University of Law is renowned for its commitment to innovation and the passionate support of their students. Themis is particularly proud to offer ULaw students a high quality, content-rich course at less than half the cost of other bar prep courses. We look forward to launching our live bar prep course with the university in Fall 2020 and are extremely grateful for the opportunity to serve ULaw students.”
