Five City law firms feature in gay rights charity Stonewall’s LGBT Global Workplace Equality Index for 2017.
The list acknowledges the efforts of employers to create inclusive workplaces. Stonewall assesses employers against a number of criteria including staff engagement, training and leadership. Of the 12 employers to be celebrated in this year’s list, five are law firms. They are:
Ruth Hunt, Stonewall’s chief executive, said: “Now in its sixth year, the Global Workplace Equality Index is reaching more people than ever before — this year’s participants collectively employ over 1.6 million people. More organisations than ever are proactively engaging with LGBT communities in the countries in which they operate.”
