Simmons & Simmons is once again the highest-ranked law firm in this year's workplace equality index, which is annually compiled by the gay rights charity Stonewall.
The firm took ninth place in this year's index, which ranks the top 100 gay-friendly employers in the United Kingdom. Companies nominate themselves to enter and provide evidence of their policies, after which Stonewall conducts an anonymous staff survey to compile the final rankings.
Seven other law firms also made the top 100. Baker & McKenzie came 19th, Pinsent Masons 22nd, Herbert Smith 30th, Hogan Lovells 40th, Eversheds 52nd, CMS Cameron McKenna 62nd and Irwin Mitchell ranked 72nd.
