Shoosmiths and Edinburgh-based Archibald Campbell & Harley have merged following the development of a close working relationship over several years.
The move was officially announced on 1 October, along with news that while the firm will continue to be known as Shoosmiths in England and Wales, it will now be called ACH Shoosmiths in Scotland.
The newly merged firm can now offer UK-wide services and exchange instructions to create further growth. The nationwide practice has grown by 60 solicitors from this merger, which is the 10th that Shoosmiths has undergone. Few would disagree with the sentiment expressed following the news by Shoosmiths' Chairperson Andrew Tubbs that now is an exciting time to be part of this growing firm.
