The Solicitors Regulation Authority's (SRA's) online enrolment application system is now open to students wishing to commence the Legal Practice Course (LPC) in 2013. The system opened to students on Monday 12 November and will remain so until September 2013.
Students must apply 30 days before their course is due to start, so those intending to start the LPC in the new year should submit their applications in the next fortnight. Those students who need to declare so-called "character and suitability issues" should apply with supporting evidence six months before the start of their desired course.
The application process costs £80, which must be paid online via credit card. The SRA also states that it is now too late to apply for any courses starting in 2012.
