Leading regional firm Michelmores has launched an exclusively London-based training contract, with the first intake of trainees set to start in September 2019.
The new opportunities follow a period of significant growth for the firm’s London office, although the number of training contract vacancies will be limited to ensure that qualifying solicitors have the best chance of securing a NQ role.
Michelmores also recruits at its Exeter office and is set to increase the intake to eight per year. In addition, the firm recruits one trainee per year at its Bristol office.
Paul Paling, head of Michelmores’ London office, said: "We have made huge advances in the 13 years we have been here. When I joined six years ago there were 10 people in the London office – now there are 50 and our growth plans remain ambitious. Having worked for a number of larger London law firms, there is a definitely a different atmosphere in the working environment at Michelmores. Being a relatively small office means everyone knows each other and there is a lot of collaboration across the different practice areas."
