While the London Legal Walk – the biggest meet-up of the legal year – is postponed to 5 October 2020, the London Legal Support Trust plans to mark the walk’s original date of 8 June with an alternative option: the 10,000 Steps for Justice.
With more than 2,000 walkers already registered, the event organiser has told participants and teams to complete their 10,000 steps at home or in their gardens, or (socially distanced) in their neighbourhoods or local parks.
Using the #10kStepsForJustice hashtag participants can connect with their teammates and share their progress.
The lord chief justice said it is “a wonderful opportunity to celebrate and support the advice agencies, as well as an ideal chance to connect with peers and colleagues”.
Any social distanced photos from the 10,000 Steps for Justice walk can be sent to: [email protected].
