The University of Law and Linklaters have confirmed that they have renewed a five-year partnership with The University of Law as the exclusive training provider for Linklaters.
A new law and business qualification, a MSc in law, business and management, will be developed for Linklaters trainees as part of an enhanced Legal Practice Course (LPC). A similar course will be available to all law firms and students from September 2015. Currently, Linklaters remains the only magic circle firm to keep The University of Law as its exclusive provider.
Wendy Tomlinson, global head of learning and development at Linklaters said: "We demand the highest standards of our training providers to ensure the next generation of Linklaters trainees have all the key competencies to meet all the outcomes required in a highly competitive and rapidly evolving market. The University of Law has delivered a new and innovative MSc in law, business and management that will equip our trainees with those essential skills."
