Students from the University of Lincoln and Manchester Metropolitan University have reached the final of the prestigious OUP and BPP National Mooting Competition.
Abdul Siddiquee and Louis Harman (who has written about legal aid for LC.N in the past) will debate on behalf of Lincoln in the final at BPP Law School on Thursday 27 June, after overcoming competition from over 70 law schools. The debate will take place before a judge and will authentically adhere to advocacy and courtroom procedures.
Harman said: "Being in the final still seems like a surreal experience. It has been a long journey with lots of hard work, but we have had fantastic results and have thoroughly enjoyed working as part of a successful team. Now we are looking forward to our biggest challenge yet, which will come in the final round. We are gunning for victory and I’m quietly confident that we can fight our corner."
