Law and business news round-up: Microsoft x LinkedIn, Revlon x Elizabeth Arden

Short and sweet this week; a handful of interesting business-driven news stories that you should know at least a bit about. Read on for more:
- Microsoft is buying LinkedIn for just over £18 billion, in a deal that will give Microsoft access to the world’s biggest professional social network, with over 430 million users.
- In other big buy-out news, Revlon is to purchase Elizabeth Arden for $870 million and creating a company with annual sales of over $3 billion.
- Betfred has been fined £800,000 by the Gambling Commission for accepting stolen money from a VIP customer.
- Sir Philip Green faced MPs during a Commons hearing, where he was under pressure to come up with a plan to fix the BHS pension mess, or face the loss of his knighthood.
- The Economist asks what will happen to markets if Britain votes to leave the European Union.
