- Yet again, Coca-Cola has failed to register its bottle shape as a trademark, with the European General Court ruling that it is not distinctive enough for the company to claim an exclusive right to it.
- Morrisons’ star was on the rise as it announced a deal with Amazon which would enable home delivery of some of its produce; the supermarket is keen to “grow volumes while remaining capital light”.
- Energy UK, the representative body for the ‘Big 6’ energy companies, has announced an unprecedented U-turn with its intention to campaign for low-carbon alternatives to fossil fuels. Colour us surprised!
