The Law Society has shortlisted 19 nominees for its Legal Heroes 2024 ceremony.
The celebration recognises solicitors who’ve made a positive difference to other people’s lives and the local community, while also bringing distinction to the legal profession.
The winners will be announced in September at the Legal Heroes Reception at 113 Chancery Lane by Law Society President Nick Emmerson.
This year’s nominees were recognised for their personal commitment to issues such as mitigating the exploitation of women in the garment industry post-pandemic, providing opportunities for aspiring Black legal professionals, protecting vertebrate species, advocating for neurodiversity and more.
Nominees from last year’s ceremony were involved in a wide-range of charities and projects, including efforts to end female genital mutilation and offer legal aid to those in need.
