Staffordshire-based law firm Knights has revealed that it is seeing an “encouraging recovery” after covid-19’s impact on the industry.

Business levels are currently 10% below pre-pandemic levels, according to the firm, with recovery expected to continue for the rest of the year.

In the year ended 30 April Knights generated pre-tax profits of £13.6 million.

Since its initial public offering, the number of Knights’ employees has tripled to 1,100 and the number of offices has doubled to 13. The firm’s market value has almost quadrupled to £400 million since 2018 and its share price recently returned to the same high reached in February prior to the pandemic.
