The InterLaw Diversity Forum’s flagship early careers event is back! On Friday 9 December 100 aspiring lawyers from diverse, socially mobile, and underrepresented groups will be welcomed for a day of inspiring panel discussions and practical workshops.

Hosted by Linklaters LLP, and sponsored by The University of Law, the Student Lab Summit is a one-day event providing a unique insight into life within the legal profession, alongside practical skills workshops to “help you not only ‘get in’, but also to succeed in the world of law”.

The programme will include:

  • plenary discussions with leading legal figures, each sharing the secrets to their success;
  • keynote and fireside chat with leading industry figures;
  • interactive breakout workshops providing valuable knowledge and practical skills;
  • access to the Student Lab Careers Fair, providing the opportunity to speak to firms who are serious about diversity, equity, and inclusion; and
  • networking opportunities with private practice and in-house lawyers.

The day is aimed at second-year plus undergraduates, graduates, and careers changers in groups currently underrepresented in law firm leadership (ie, those from ethnic minority backgrounds, women, LGBTQ+ candidates, socially mobile candidates and candidates with a disability.

Applications are open and close on Friday 21 October 2022.
