Withers & Rogers, based in London, has launched a new graduate recruitment programme.
The intellectual property (IP) firm is hoping to more than double its usual intake this year, after experiencing sustained growth in the demand for specialist IP advice. There are currently nine vacancies for graduates to apply for, while the firm has also launched a new application site as part of its recruitment drive.
Karl Barnfather, chairman at Withers & Rogers, said: "We work with some of the most innovative organisations in the world and are looking for highly ambitious and motivated graduates who are keen to work in a dynamic business environment at a firm that’s going from strength to strength. The new graduate recruitment programme offers an exciting opportunity for those wishing to begin a career as either a trade mark or patent attorney. Although it can take up to five years to become fully qualified, we expect all our trainees to play a valuable role within specialist teams from day one. Our graduates will gain experience of working on live cases and will have exposure to blue chip clients, while learning from experienced attorneys who will oversee every aspect of their development in becoming strategic advisors in the protection of innovation."
