The four Inns of Court are in the process of accepting applications for 2017-18 BPTC scholarships, with a closing date for all of Friday 4 November 2016. Although they share a deadline, each of Gray’s, Inner Temple, Lincoln’s and Middle Temple Inns runs its own scholarship scheme, including with separate application systems and requirements.
Struan Campbell, outreach manager at Inner Temple, commented on their Pegasus Access and Support Scheme (PASS), which is also open to applicants: “The Inner Temple offers a mini-pupillage and skills development programme, which is open to aspiring barristers who have not yet commenced the BPTC. Through the scheme we offer several legal skills workshops and the opportunity to undertake a mini-pupillage at one of our partner chambers. PASS is underpinned by social mobility principles and, as such, there are several criteria that applicants must meet in order to gain a place.” Click here to apply for PASS.
