Global law firm Dentons is allegedly set to become the latest City firm to relocate from the heart of the City’s legal district. Plans will see the firm move from its current location in Fleet Street to Liverpool Street.
Although the firm has not confirmed this move, the lease for its current office expires in 2025, in line with the confirmed finish date of the new office build.
The space at One Liverpool Street is a new 10-storey development set to be finished by 2026 with the firm rumoured to be leasing 80,000 square feet. According to Eric Parry Architects, the office is a joint venture between Aviva and TfL.
The firm joins Clifford Chance, Hill Dickinson LLP and Addleshaw Goddard who’ve all recently revealed plans to move offices, as reported by LawCareers.Net in October.
The rumours surrounding this move follow the latest trend in City firms facing pressure to limit hybrid working, as they’re told to return to five days in the office to match larger fee-paying clients.
