The College of Law is running a series of new Explore Law events aimed at school students who are keen to learn more about what working in the legal profession is like.
The free events are being held at seven of the CoL's eight centres and are aimed at students currently doing their GCSEs, and AS and A levels. There will be interactive taster workshops, a panel discussion featuring practising lawyers and CoL students, as well as other exercises and tips.
Imogen Burton, business development director at CoL, said: "Law is a sought-after profession which attracts the brightest and most talented of our young people. Preparation is key to giving oneself the best possible chance of achieving a legal career and it’s never too early to start. Our free Explore Law events are designed to give aspiring lawyers from all backgrounds a head start and help to ensure that the legal profession benefits from the best talent from as diverse a cross-section of society as possible."
