The College of Law (CoL, but soon to be known as the University of Law) has launched an online 'virtual open day'.
The service provides an alternative way for potential students to get information about its undergraduate and postgraduate law courses, and works in conjunction with existing, 'real life' open days. Online visitors can view student accommodation, watch videos of current students and tutors, learn about the CoL's teaching methods and also hear from its affiliated law firms.
Sarah Hutchinson, the CoL's board member for business development, said: "The virtual open day will never replace the experience of actually visiting our centres as a way for potential students to evaluate whether we are right for them, and we are welcoming increasing numbers of students through our doors at traditional open days. However, we understand that they increasingly want to review information in their own time. Our virtual open day provides an inspiring digital experience of the college and is an additional way for students to find out about our range of practice-focused courses, our innovative learning methods and first-class facilities, as well as learn more about the modern world of law."
