Solicitors at magic circle firm Clifford Chance are set to benefit from a new training programme aimed at developing their technology skills.
The tech academy enables the firm’s lawyers to access online training and resources, including in basic and intermediate coding. The scheme will also include several full-day workshops on key issues such as data privacy and artificial intelligence, which will be streamed to the firm’s worldwide offices by Australian consultants, Collective Campus.
Anand Saha, partner at Clifford Chance’s New York office and one of the leaders of the firm’s tech group, said: "It is critical that our people are fluent in the key technological trends that our clients are facing and the tech academy will build our lawyers' understanding on a range of topics from e-commerce and connected vehicles to artificial intelligence, blockchain, data privacy and cybersecurity. The goal is to stay on top of the issues and remain in tune with our clients as they grapple with rapidly changing technologies."
