The Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) has launched its inaugural National Awards to celebrate the best and the brightest among its members. Among other things, the awards will recognise those who have promoted access to the profession, shown leadership, and championed diversity and inclusion.
The awards will be held on 6 September and will be hosted by actress and comedian sally Phillips. The awards form part of the ‘CILEx is changing’ project, which also includes an overhaul of the organisation’s governance to ensure it is fit for the future.
CILEx President Millicent Grant said: “We are proud to support and represent a wealth of talented people and organisations, and want to acknowledge those who are leading the way and whose work closely aligns to our mission, our vision and our values. The law is an ever-changing, forward-thinking sector and it is time for CILEx and its members to be loud and proud about the role we play in it. These awards will showcase what a vibrant part of the profession we represent.”
The closing date for nominations is 31 May. The full list of categories and more detail is here.
