Private wealth and real estate firm Boodle Hatfield LLP has reported a fee income of £32.5 million for the 2022/23 financial year, rising from £30.7 million the previous year.
As the financial year comes to an end the firm can proudly report its 300th year in business is its most successful yet. The past six years have seen Boodle Hatfield’s revenue increase annually by 6%, with a 12% increase in profit.
Speaking on the firm’s financial success Andrea Zavos, senior partner at Boodle Hatfield, said: “This continued success is testament to our people, who collectively ensure we deliver the very best quality advice and meet the ever-changing needs of our dynamic client base.”
Zavos also commented on the current difficulties of the economic climate, stating: “Our ability to continue to grow revenue in a difficult business climate demonstrates the quality of these practices and the expertise at the firm."
Acquiring talent is one area that Zavos feels the firm does particularly well in; in the past 12 months alone the firm has made five lateral partner hires, with lawyers joining from Fieldfisher, Irwin Mitchell LLP, Farrer & Co LLP, Fladgate LLP and Ince.
Alongside the firm’s excellent profit margins, Boodle Hatfield has also proudly reported an 80% trainee retention rate this year and is looking forward to welcoming five new trainees this month.
