Getting into the spirit of the season, BPP Law School has launched a spooky new website - www.legalhorrorstories.co.uk - aimed at encouraging students and others to share their scariest tales of interviews gone wrong and emails fired off in haste.
BPP’s new site has already attracted a few gruesome submissions, including tales of a urine sample falling out of a lawyer’s bag in front of a client and a training contract candidate who had to attend the interview covered in milk.
Jo-Anne Pugh, director of LPC programmes at BPP Law School, explains what this new venture into the netherworld of legal disaster is all about: “Overcoming obstacles and having a resilient mind-set are key skills to have throughout your legal career and we wanted to use the Halloween period to demonstrate, in a light-hearted way, that no matter what the situation, someone else has been there and survived.”
