The application process for seven social welfare law training contracts, organised through The Legal Education Foundation (TLEF) is currently in full swing.
The training contracts have been available through TLEF's Justice First Fellowship Scheme, which grants host law firms and other organisations an average of £75,000 to train LPC (or equivalent) graduates over a two-year period. The programme's objective is to train lawyers to provide advice to vulnerable people in the areas of housing, welfare benefits, disability, immigration, domestic abuse and child welfare.
