Addleshaw Goddard and HSBC have announced the return of the Ethnic Business Growth Programme (EBGP), an initiative that seeks to empower and support UK businesses led by entrepreneurs exclusively from ethnically diverse backgrounds. The scheme was first launched in March 2024 to bridge the gap, mitigate the systemic barriers these communities often face in the business world and assist the success of ethnically diverse businesses operating in Manchester and London.
There’s no specific financial threshold for eligibility to participate in the EBGP and businesses from any sector are welcome to apply. The 10 businesses chosen in the inaugural EBGP in 2024 were:

Applications for the EBGP are now open and will close on 28 February 2025.
