Those aspiring to the dizzy heights of the magic circle should note that Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has increased the number of London trainees it will take on in 2013 from 90 to 100.
Trainee recruitment partner Simon Johnson said: "Our trainee intake has remained relatively steady over the past few years and we’re pleased that we’re now able to offer more bright graduates the opportunity to join the firm - particularly as competition for training contracts remains tough."
The deadline for applications for a Freshfields 2013 training contract is 31 July 2011.
