As the spring-qualifying trainees at SNR Denton celebrate vastly improved retention rates (see "NQ retention rates rocket at SNR Denton"), more firms' newly qualified (NQ) Spring 2011 figures have come to light. Currently residing at the top of the table with 100% are Stephenson Harwood and Weil Gotshal; the former is keeping on all five of its current intake, the latter both two. Slaughter and May, Berwin Leighton Paisner and White & Case also feature high up the list with NQ figures in the nineties - the firms rates are 96%, 95% and 92% respectively.
Other practices to score well were Norton Rose, Nabarro and Allen & Overy, with figures of 87%, 85% and 87.5%. Simmons & Simmons and Pinsent Masons follow close behind with figures of 80% and 79%. Appearing further down the table is Wragge & Co with a rate of 71% - it offered five of its seven new qualifiers a job - and CMS Cameron McKenna, which has a 63% rate after offering permanent positions to only 19 of its 30 trainees.
