Students enrolling at the College of Law (CoL) will now be able to start the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) in January, in addition to having the option of starting in September.
The course launches in January 2013 and will take eight months to complete, finishing in September. Tuition will be spread over four days of contact time a week, with the course run at the CoL's Chester, Birmingham, London Moorgate and York centres. The move ties in with the CoL's launch of fast-track, seven-month Legal Practice Courses starting each January, July and September.
CoL board member for business development, Sarah Hutchinson, said: "One thing that our students tell us they want in their learning choices is flexibility. We therefore aim to provide as much flexibility as possible in how, when and where students can learn. We already offer a range of full-time, part-time and online learning programmes delivered using a structured mix of learning methods, including face-to-face teaching and cutting-edge, multimedia tools. Providing flexibility in course start dates is another important development."
