Kent student group ramps up fundraising efforts

updated on 08 November 2012

The Kent Law Campaign is raising money to help fund a new building for the Kent Law Clinic, which is the University of Kent's pro bono law centre, and the university's mooting programme.

The campaign's student group is raising funds and boosting awareness through a variety of events. It has already run a Freshers' quiz, a raffle and various other social events, and is planning on selling Christmas cards and hosting a law ball in January 2013. Individual group members will also be taking part in sponsored swims, skydives and bike rides to raise money. The university is matching each donation to the campaign pound for pound.

The aim is to raise £25,000 for the campaign, with £4,000 raised already. For more on the campaign, click here, and to track the student group's progress, click here.
