We actively promote a friendly, supportive, practical and business-like approach to your training by offering a comprehensive induction training programme, quarterly trainee seminars, practical workshops with particular emphasis on developing your business development skills and a detailed appraisal at the end of each seat.

We aim to give all trainees the best commercial grounding by giving you the opportunity to complete your training contract by way of six-month seats within corporate finance, real estate, dispute resolution and private client, with the fourth seat allocation to be decided during the training contract. Trainees are given the opportunity to take on responsibility and be involved in a wide range of legal work.

We pride ourselves on our 'open door' policy and encourage coaching and mentoring throughout the training contract. The quality of our training programme was recognised by the LawCareers.Net Training and Recruitment Awards by winning the "Best Recruiter" Award in 2015 and 2014 and also in 2013 by winning "Best Trainer". In 2017, Stephen Kay (our Training Principal) was nominated for best Training Principal (small trainee intake). We also achieved the sixth generation version of Investors In People in 2019.

Who should apply?

Our success is built on our people and we take our trainee solicitor recruitment very seriously. We are looking for candidates who have a 2.1 degree or above, who are approachable, have great communication skills and an appetite for success.
