We are a busy legal department serving an ambitious and exciting Council in East London. Our borough is a fascinating place to work and our dedicated and experienced legal team work on a variety of interesting and high profile projects and cases. We are seeking four enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to undertake their training contracts within our department.
The training contract will consist of four seats of six months within a range of teams:
We will provide you with varied and stimulating legal work during the training contract which will provide you with real hands-on experience. We want people who are willing to work proactively and who share our corporate values. In return you will have the opportunity to develop your legal skills including drafting, negotiation and advocacy experience before magistrates and district Judges. You will be given a high level of responsibility from the outset, whilst being provided with support and guidance from our highly skilled lawyers.

We are looking for candidates with a good degree (2.1 or above), who have completed and passed their LPC with either a commendation or distinction and who are ready to start a training contract.
